Join us for our very first Rugged Peaks KIDS session! We will be holding a three week session (Saturday December 3rd, December 10th, and December 17th from 1030am-1130am) for kids ages 5-12. The cost of these three weeks will be $30 total and this will include a free kids shirt! As class spots will be on a first come first serve basis, attending this three week intro session will guarantee your child a spot in their age group class when we roll out our full program in January 2023. Spots are limited to the first 15 sign ups so make sure you enroll before it's too late!

Rugged Peaks KIDS

What Will We Teach?

Rugged Peaks Kids will use a combination of skill practice, workouts, and games to build strength and conditioning in children.  Our classes include elements of gymnastics, weight lifting, body weight movements, running, jump roping, and more. Specifically, we will teach the 10 General Physical Skills. These skills are the base for any sport or discipline your child may pursue. Improvement in these areas will directly lead to your child having an increased ability to learn and succedd in other sports, school, hobbies, and life.

The 10 General Physical Skills

1. Cardiovascular Endurance - Getting oxygen to your body

2. Stamina - Getting energy to your muscles

3. Strength - Being able to lift things

4. Flexibility - Being able to touch your toes

5. Power - Being able to complete work in the least amount of time

6. Speed - Being able to do things fast

7. Coordination - Being able to do complex things

8. Accuracy - Being able to do completed what you are trying to do

9. Agility - Being able to quickly change direction 

10. Balance - Being able to stay centered
